A Trip to the Pass Christian Branch

Just wanted to let you guys know that I went to the Pass Christian library this afternoon. To say that I’ve met the most amazing and strong women would be an understatement. I’m attaching a few photos from the inside of the library of a mural made by the children of Pass Christian after Hurricane Katrina.
On the book buying front, the grand total of donations from me and my coworkers so far is just under $300 with more expected later today and tomorrow. Sally from the library offered to make a wish list for the local book store that I can print out and go shopping with. My main concern was duplicating too many books and she assured me that the list she is going to make will be for my use only.

No no no! I’m still collecting money from my co-workers! We’ll have over $500 by Friday morning and I’ll send you a nice long list of all the books (and one puzzle, specially requested by an adorable 4yo boy) that we were able to find locally.
